Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Arriving in Munich you will be met by our local representative for the journey to your hotel in Kirchberg.

Day 2 - Zell am See - A guided tour of the picturesque lakeside resort of Zell am See taking in sights such as Constable’s Tower and Castle Rosenberg. Free time to explore Zell am See at your leisure.

Day 3 - Innsbruck & Rattenberg - A guided tour of Innsbruck, an enchanting medieval town set against the backdrop of the Alps and home to treasures such as the ‘Golden Roof’, the Cathedral St Jacob, the Imperial Palace and Ambras Castle. Free time to explore the oldest and delightful medieval town of Rattenberg, famous for its glass crystal ware.

Day 4 - Kitzbuhel - Explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy refreshments in the local coffee houses. Take a cable car to the top of the magnificent Hahennkamm which towers over the village. This evening there will be a Tyrolean evening of music and dance.

Day 5 - Salzburg - A guided city tour, the home of Mozart and the ‘Sound of Music’, which takes the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the Cathedral, Mozart’s birthplace and the Mirabell Palace and Gardens. Free time to explore at your leisure.

Day 6 - The Tratzberg Castle & Lake Achensee - Sitting on a massive rock with breathtaking views of the Inn Valley, a small train will take you to the entrance of medieval Tratzberg Castle.  Inside are the stunning Hapsburg Rooms, the Fugger Room with Renaissance art and armoury collection. Cruise Lake Achensee or take a steam journey on the Achensee train. This dates from the late 19th century and offers views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Day 7 - Kirchberg - Free day to relax or explore as you choose.

Day 8 - A little free time for some last minute shopping in Kirchberg before returning to the UK.
