Sample Itinerary

Day 1- En route we visit The Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire, which is home to the world's greatest collection of British Cars! The Heritage Motor Centre museum tells its story from some of the very first cars to take to British roads, right up to the latest designs.

Day 2 - Stepping aboard the colourful Magical Mystery Tour Bus for a fascinating 2 hour tour of Beatles’ Liverpool.  This tour takes you to see their childhood homes, schools and colleges and you'll get up close to the places that inspired some of their most memorable songs - Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. You will be kept entertained along the way by a fully qualified Beatles guide and some Fab Four tunes. The tour finishes at the legendary Cavern Club, where you can collect an exclusive souvenir of your trip. Free time to explore the famous Albert Docks area. A visit to Southport with the opportunity of seeing Anthony Gormley’s Iron Men Sculptures which are located on Crosby beach. Southport has Britain's second longest and second oldest pier which has been completely refurbished at a cost of £7 million.

Day 3 - A full day cruise of  the legendary Manchester Ship Canal betweenLiverpool and Salford. This is a truly memorable journey along the 35-mile stretch of canal. It includes a lively commentary giving a revealing insight into the facts, the history and the dramas of one of Britain’s major waterways and a packed lunch onboard.

Day 4 - Free time today for you to visit Liverpool’s city centre. Visits today could include the two unassuming houses which were the ‘childhood homes’ of two of the Beatles, Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon. Speke Hall NT is a rare example of a Tudor manor house with Victorian interiors and the original William Morris wallpaper. Situated in a most unusual setting, it is surrounded by attractive gardens and woodland. Uncover the hidden Tudor secrets, play billiards, explore the maze or enjoy a bracing walk with stunning views of the Welsh hills.

Day 5 - Port Sunlight is a unique attraction and those who visit for the first time are usually astonished at what they discover. It is argued to be the finest surviving example of early urban planning in the UK. The late 19th Century village was built by William Hesketh Lever later Viscount Leverhulme , to house his soap factory workers at Lever Brothers which eventually turned into the global giant Unilever. The Lady Lever Art Gallery houses one of the most beautiful collections of fine and decorative art in the UK. Trentham Gardens & Outlet Centre is a perfect break the afternoon’s journey homeward.
