Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Embarkation of this cruise is in Passau. Dinner included onboard before setting sail towards Melk
 
Day 2 - Melk lies in the beautiful Wachau Valley. This small historic town centre made up of mainly 16th and 17th century buildings is not arduous. The Benedictine Abbey located on top of a bluff, forms a northern Baroque backdrop for the older town centre and is accessed on its eastern side. This is one of the most famous monastic houses in Austria which has been occupied by monks for over 900 years. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
 
Day 3 - Vienna - Enjoy a full day experiencing the delights of this city. Grand palaces, baroque castles, magnificent squares and grand monuments are just some of the key features of this beautiful city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Schönbrunn Palace takes you on a journey through time as you explore some of the 1441 rooms. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
 
Day 4 - Budapest, known as the Pearl of the Danube, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Here you can explore both sides of Hungary’s capital – traditional ‘Buda’ and the more cosmopolitan ‘Pest’. A half day guided city sightseeing tour by coach and on foot will show you the Fisherman's Bastion & Matthias Church amongst many other sights. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
 
Day 5 - Lázár Brothers Horseshow & Lunch – A transfer by private coach takes you to the stunning traditional horse show, a must for all visitors to Hungary. The horse and cart driving world championship holders, the Lázár Brothers, brought their dreams to life by uniting the atmosphere of a Hungarian village and high quality Hungarian hospitality with the excitement of a high quality European horse stable. This spectacular horse show brings to life the traditions of the Hungarian horsemanship. A typical Hungarian lunch is included. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
 
Day 6 - Bratislava is an historic city dominated by its castle and unique suspension bridge. It is said to be Europe's most relaxed city with its old-town charm, sophisticated restaurants & traditional pubs & music. Known as Pressburg to German-speakers or Pozsony to Hungarian-speakers, the name Bratislava was created just 90 years ago. The city has a long and proud history that dates back to pre-Roman times. We set sail and cruise to Durnstein. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included) 
 
Day 7 - Durnstein is crowned by the ruins of the castle that once imprisoned Richard the Lionheart. A walking tour around the cobbled streets is the best way to admire the pretty courtyards and buildings.The Wachau Valley is renowned for its wine cellars and a wine tasting will be arranged. We set sail for the final time and cruise back towards Passau. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included) 
 
Day 8 - Disembarkation takes place after breakfast this morning.
