4 Anchor MS Rhone Princess was constructed in 2001 and renovated in 2011. It has 69 cabins accommodating a maximum of 138 passengers. The dimensions of the ship are: Width: 11.40m - Length: 110m
Cabin facilities include a TV, telephone (for internal calls only), bathroom with shower and toilet, towels, safe, independent air-conditioning, electricity 220V & Wi-Fi.


Day 1 : LYON
Arriving in Lyon you will board the ship and having settled into your cabin, you will be introduced to the crew at a welcome cocktail. Dinner tonight will be followed by an evening of entertainment.

Day 2 : LYON - MACON
This morning a guided walking tour of Lyon is included where you will discover its famous ‘traboules’, types of passageways that are typical of the city. Between courtyards and through buildings, secret alleyways and staircases once provided safe and efficient passage for silk workers to get their wares to and from market unmarred. Returning to the ship you will spend the afternoon cruising to Mâcon. This evening will include dinner and dancing.

This morning’s excursion is an included visit to the Abbey ruins in Cluny which was the largest church in Christendom until St. Peter’s Basilica was constructed in Rome in the 16th Century.Returning on board for lunch, this afternoon you will cruise to Vienne. Evening entertainment is included on board.

This morning a guided tour of Vienne is included which has preserved a rich built heritage from its long past, including monuments dating back to ancient times. These include the imposing Temple of Augustus and Livia built in 1BC, the vast 1st-century Théâtre Antique one of the largest theatres in Roman Gaul and the Garden of Cybele with its Gallo-Roman archaeological remains. Thisafternoon will be spent cruising followed by dinner and an evening of entertainment.

Day 5 : ARLES, The Camargue
This morning we visit Arles and a local olive oil producer and this afternoon, you will discover the Camargue, as we visit a ‘manade’ (horse breeding farm) and learn about how a manadier works with the animals. We return on board for dinner and an evening of traditional Provençal entertainment.

Our excursion this morning will be a guided tour of Avignon and the Papal Palace. Listed as a World Heritage Siteby Unesco, the Popes' Palace is one of the 10 most visited monuments in France with 650,000 visitors per year. A true symbol of the influence of Western Christianity in the 14th Century, this 15,000m2 masterpiece of a monument is the largest medieval fortress and gothic palace in Europe. Returning to the ship, we spend the afternoon cruising before our included guided tour of Viviers later today.

This morning will be spent cruising to Tournon, where a guided tour is included where you willvisit the imposing Castle-Museum of Tournon-sur-Rhône which dates back to between the 10th-16th centuries. This will be followed by a tasting of local wines and regional delicacies. Returning on board tonight the Captain hosts a Gala dinner whilst the ship cruises towards Lyon.

Day 8 : LYON
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking. You will have a little free time this morning your homeward journey.
